Training Around Vulnerable  Children  

Limited places are available to the Private, Voluntary and Faith Sector on the following courses run by Thurrock Council and are available to staff working with children.  Past sessions that have been accessible in this way have had great feedback. 

Staff working in the homes of vulnerable families inevitably come into contact with both adults and children and safeguarding is everyone’s responsibility, regardless of who they provide a direct service to.  This can include Social Workers, Youth Workers, Housing Officers, Family Support.

 Child Protection (suitable for staff working frontline with children and young people) April 26th 9:30 – 4pm, Committee Room 1 Civic Offices
